That being said, I would never sell an extremely flawed pin unless it is heavily discounted and stated as a “seconds” grade pin. I do not own the rights to any of these characters. All my pins are fan made derived from fan art and all artists involved have been compensated for their services. Pay for Production (p4p) pins are directly referenced from original art and I do not make a profit off these designs.
Grading System
I carefully inspect each pin under replicated natural lighting. Grading does not apply to the entire back of the pin, only the posts to ensure they are not bent, damaged or wobbly. Bent/damaged/wobbly posts instantly place pins in the C grade or below.
Standard - this will usually only apply to pins less than 2 inches, as the quality amongst pins this size, from my experience, has been fairly consistent. If there are flaws, they are hardly visible unless examining very closely and reflecting the pin in different lighting.
